Let's start with how to add Header Links to your virtual event:
You can add Header Links to the top of your event's page that link out to internal or external sites.
For example, on this event, the first three links are to pages within the event. (For more info on adding these, please refer to this tutorial.)
The last link, EventHub Blog, will open up a new tab with a link to a different website. Follow the steps below to add an external Header Link like this:
On the Main Page of your event, go to the "Info" tab (you must be in edit mode to have access to the editor). A few sections down, you should see a section called "Header Links." Click the Add a Header Link button. This will bring up the following pop up:
- Label: Enter the text you want to appear at the top of the page.
- URL: Enter the URL you want to open in a new page when someone clicks on the Label text.
- Check the box "Open In Current Tab", otherwise, the link will open in a new tab.
- Don't forget to click Save Link!
Now, back in the editing sidebar under the Info tab, you should see your added link. You should also see it appear at the top of your page, next to your other Header Links.
If you would like to edit this link, you can do so by clicking the small pencil icon to the right of this link under the Header Links section in the sidebar.
If you want to add another Header Link, you can do so by clicking the small green "ADD" text under the Header Links section in the sidebar.
If you've added multiple Header Links, you can use the small arrows to reorder them. Simple click the up or down arrows to change their order, and make sure to click Save Details at the bottom of the editing sidebar. You might need to refresh the page to see your ordering changes reflected in the Header Links.
Footer Links
You can add Footer Links to the bottom of your event's page that link out to other sites.
