What to Do If Your Payment Fails
If your payment fails, it’s usually due to one of the following reasons:
- Incorrect payment details (expiration date, name on card, billing ZIP code, or security code)
- Your bank or credit card company blocking the transaction (especially with company cards)
- Insufficient funds
If you’ve entered the correct information and the payment still fails, it could be due to the event organizer's payment processor. Sometimes, a pre-authorized payment expires if the order approval takes too long—this isn’t an error on your end.
How to Fix It
- Try resubmitting your payment by clicking the "Payment Failed - Resubmit" located in Step 1 of your Order Summary. Or you can click the "Make a Payment" button located in Step 2 of your Order Summary.
- If the payment still doesn’t go through, contact your bank or credit card provider to authorize the transaction.
- Message the event organizer to learn more about why the payment failed—they can check the details through their payment processor. "Help Article on How to Message an Event"
